Dr. Vijay Kumar Jadon [Ph.D., IIT Roorkee] - Expert in Applied Engineering & Robotics

Presently working as Dean, Applied Engineering, Chitkara University and has more than 25 years of teaching experience. Graduated from MBMEC Jodhpur in 1990 and Gold Medallist in M.Tech (M/c Design), and Ph.D. from IIT Roorkee. He is awarded Visiting Fellowship by DST, SRF by CSIR. Guided 6 Ph.D. and more than 25 M.Tech candidates. Authored four books and more than 60 publications. Areas of interest are Mobile Robotics, Artificial Intelligence, Tribology, FEM, Composite Mechanics, Mechatronics. Previous employer includes Baddi University, Gian Jyoti Group of Institution Mohali, Thapar University Patiala, SBSCET Ferozepur, Guest faculty at PEC. Filed 17 patents including two related to the drones and Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (System to Facilitate Stabilization of Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (Application No 202011048181) and Multipurpose Drone Test Rig (Application No 334121-001)). Organised a workshop on “Drones Hands on Training” on 12 March, 2022. He also organised a 5 Days Faculty Development Program on Modelling and Simulation of Drones from 23 Dec 2019 to 27 Dec 2019.
